Alex Romano
Alex leads Meridian's buy-and-build commercial integration work, helping portfolio companies convert acquisitions into a single operating system. His focus is the unglamorous but decisive work of integration: harmonizing customer-facing motions, standardizing KPIs, and making sure the combined business behaves like one company instead of several.
Before Meridian, he was a Partner at Strategy&, where he advised sponsors on acquisition value creation, integration sequencing, and commercial due diligence. Earlier, he held operating roles inside a distribution-led business, working on branch performance, sales process standardization, and territory productivity.
Across a prior platform roll-up, Alex helped build a 100-day commercial integration blueprint that accelerated cross-sell and improved EBITDA run-rate faster than the sponsor had expected. The pattern was consistent: the integration plan mattered most when it changed field behavior.
Alex holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.
